Have you ever heard people talk about blocks? You probably ask yourself, "What the heck is going on? What's a block?" To put in another way, it's all the excuses or reasons why you can't do something that you create in your mind to hold you back - but blocks sounds a lot nicer than that, doesn't it?

Think about it though. When you have an idea or a goal you want to achieve, you will inevitably create a least of all the reasons it won't work. Think of each of those excuses as actual, physical blocks. And when you put enough blocks together, you can build a wall (or tower!) with them. That wall stands between you and glory. Doesn't sound like fun, does it?

Now, this is where the Jenga analogy comes into play. In Jenga, every time you remove a block, you run the risk of that tower falling down. To win the game, you don't want to knock the tower down, but in your case, the faster you can knock that thing down, the better! Take a look at the list of reasons or excuses why you can't do something. Maybe it's the money. Maybe it's what you see as a lack of education. Or maybe you just fear you won't succeed. Those are all things holding you back. If they aren't helping you to reach your goals, they are blocks. And you must deal with those blocks. Each time you overcome one of those issues, you can knock a block out of that tower. Continue tackling each of the issues until the tower eventually falls, freeing you of those nasty hangups that kept you for greatness.

Ideally, you could take a wrecking ball to all of those blocks and knock them the F down all in one go. But we live in reality, and we know that it doesn't always happen that way. Sometimes you can get rid of a few blocks in a week, while others might take months and years to wiggle free. Decide what's more important to you - staying stuck or getting ahead? If you choose Option B, then you know that you have to keep going, keep working until there are no more excuses or reasons why stopping you. When you run out of excuses, when you knock down all those blocks, nothing will be able to stop you! It's a great realization when that day comes.
